Thursday Time Off? (Silver Linings, 9-17-2020)

camping

September 21, 2020

My husband suggested the idea about a month ago.   “What about going camping September 17-20, up at Quechee, Vermont?”  My immediate thought was no.  I say no to almost everything all the time in September.  Too much going on, between exchange students arriving and an international dairy  course to run, followed by a major trade show.

But I stopped myself just in time, remembering that everything was cancelled. September is possible this year, and so I said yes.

Today, on a Thursday, we are off.  We have the new-to-us camper filled with plenty of food and all the supplies we could need.

Some time with my husband, in September, during the week?  Definitely another silver lining.

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
