Stability

hike

March 29, 2021

The weather is too perfect to ignore again today.  If southern Vermont hits 50 F in March, we are lucky.  We’ve seen 70 a couple of times this week with plenty of temps in the 60’s—with full sun.  It’s like we’ve stepped out of a winter’s nap and fast-forwarded far ahead into May.

A few friends join me, and we hike for a bit with the dogs.

We’ve rounded the full year now, and we’re still traipsing about our hills, whenever we can, for as long as we can.  The only thing that has changed in the past year is the size of the dogs.

My silver lining today is the stability I feel from this joining of friends to walk down a trail.  Who would have thought that knowing we can see each other for a few minutes each weekend would come to mean so much to all of us?

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
