November Thoughts

november thoughts

November 25, 2020

Here in the USA, tomorrow is the day when we slow down a little, and we are thankful for all that is important in our lives.  In my humble opinion, it has always seemed to be the nicest day in our American culture.

It is clear that 2020 has not been a normal year.

As it has not been possible for my company, Global Cow, to do almost anything internationally since March, I have thought (a lot) about if this would be an opportunity for me to change to doing something different.

It turns out that I like what I am doing.  And I don’t want to leave it

There is much that I am thankful in 2020 (starting with good health, which is something I think all of us have learned how to value more during a pandemic!).  One of the most important things I am thankful for is the opportunity to do the work I’ve been doing.  It has been a privilege.  I hope to be able to return to “normal” in 2021, and to continue to help people realize their dreams of traveling abroad, of learning about cows and life in a different country.

It seems that the silver lining of NOT being able to work for most of the year turns out to be a recommitment to what I was doing.

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
