Flexibility (Silver Linings 6-7-2020)

We left today to go “moosing”.  We are staying in northern New Hampshire and popping over into Maine a bit—all so we can see moose in the natural environment.

I looked for a cabin in the area, and it was not available over a weekend.  But, it was available during the week.

So we’ve left on Sunday afternoon.  We’ll come back on a Tuesday.  School is not out yet, but school is different this year.  My two high schoolers have confirmed ahead of time that they can miss these two days.  Their finals are flexible this year.

A silver lining to the end of the school year means moosing is possible—when the cabin is rentable.  Yay for flexible schedules (and yay for moose!)!

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
