We’ve survived day four of enforced family togetherness.

The weather helped—we made it to about 45 F (7 C).  We all found things to do that engaged us a bit more, or at least took away some of the monotony.  For my husband, it was a quick walk with the dogs.  For my daughter, she took solace in a workout in our basement.  Our son drove up to a frozen pond and hiked around on the cross-country ski trails.

Now, at the end of the day, at least three of us have agreed to a movie.

Family movie night, on a Wednesday, at the end of February, with everyone in the house?  Silver lining.
