A Little Extra Help

hand

December 9, 2020

Ever tried to not use one hand at all?  Turns out there are many more things that need two hands than I realized—everything from things I expected, like typing, to stuff I had not thought about, like holding a cell phone camera.

But because of the odd school schedule my high school daughter has, every time I needed help, I knew just who to call.  So far, she’s helped with feed and water for the chickens and rabbits, loading the dishwasher, opening jars, scraping the sides of a bowl and crawling under the Christmas tree to check the water level.

This is one silver lining that will likely drive my daughter crazy.  But for the first few days, this is a really good thing for me!

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
