A Discovered History (Silver Linings 7-11-2020)

July 14, 2020

Since no one wants to venture “too far” from home these days, our friends have chosen a state park campground just across the state line.  It’s in the Adirondacks, only a couple of hours away.

Better yet, there is a historic fort there, called Fort Ticonderoga.  (And if you have not been, I’d urge you to visit!)  Every one of us left impressed by how much we absolutely did not know about the history of this area!

A silver lining today?  Important factual lessons learned—all because a pandemic caused us to go camping with friends, close to home.

Silver Linings…

started as my personal response to 2020’s global pandemic of COVID-19.  When I published them locally,  I was surprised by how much people responded to them.

I hope they bring some positivity to you, too, during this unsettling time
